Rukhsar Rehman, who featured in a lot of serials and had little parts in movies like PK, Sarkar, and God Tussi Great Ho, recently talked about how hard it was for her to get into the business while dealing with problems in her personal life.

Rukhsar said that her parents forced her to be married. When she was only 19, she ran away with her baby daughter to stay alive.

Rukhsar Rehman is an actor in Uri. At 17, she started acting and ran away from her husband’s house with their 8-month-old daughter. Rukhsar Rehman remarked, “My daughter was only 8 months old and asleep. She didn’t know that our lives were about to change.”

Rukhsar Rehman, who was a regular on TV shows and had little parts in movies like PK, Sarkar, and God Tussi Great Ho, recently talked about the problems she had in her personal life while trying to break into the business.

Rukhsar Rehman told Humans of Bombay that she made her first appearance in Deepak Anand’s Yaad Rakhegi Duniya (1992) when she was 17 years old. The actor was also in the movie Inteha Pyar Ki alongside Rishi Kapoor.

But her parents didn’t like her job and forced her to cease acting so she could be married.

Rukshar had a baby girl named Aisha when she was 19.

“I discovered my new purpose with Aisha. From the outside, life looked great. I was doing my best to be a decent wife. But after a while, the fissures started to emerge. “And the marriage fell apart,” she claimed.

Rukhsar finally found the strength to do something for herself one day. She ran away with her 8-month-old kid on her lap. “One night, I packed up what little I could and departed. My daughter was only 8 months old and sleeping when our lives were about to alter. I kept thinking, “Am I doing the right thing?” But I knew I had done everything I could. She remembered that when her father opened the door, he didn’t ask questions. He just said, “You’ll be okay.”

She subsequently launched a clothing store in her hometown of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, to make ends meet. But the actress in her always wanted to come back.

Rukhsar had small roles in movies including D, Sarkar, PK, Uri, and 83.

Rukhsar married filmmaker Faruk Kabir years later, but they divorced after 13 years. “It hurt, but Aisha was there for me. I think she raised me too. There was a time when I felt my narrative was done. But I liked acting too much to give it up. She ended by saying, “When you’re meant to do something, you find your way back when you’re ready.”
