Paresh Rawal Hera Pheri 3 Exit Controversy unfolds over legal issues, missing scripts, as Rawal officially leaves the film.

Paresh Rawal Hera Pheri 3 Exit Controversy has shocked fans of the popular comedy series. The veteran actor, who is best known for his iconic role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, has officially quit Hera Pheri 3. His lawyers have now talked about the situation in public.

Paresh Rawal’s lawyers finally speak out.

Anand & Naik, Paresh Rawal’s lawyers, have made an official statement for the first time confirming that he is leaving. The move comes after Rawal posted on X (formerly Twitter) that his lawyer Ameet Naik had sent a response to explain the “rightful termination.” After reading the statement, Rawal said, “all issues will be laid to rest.”

Why did Paresh Rawal leave Hera Pheri 3?

A source close to The Times of India said that Akshay Kumar gave Rawal a contract to sign for Hera Pheri 3 while they were filming Bhoot Bangla in March 2024. Rawal agreed out of kindness, but he was worried that there wasn’t a final script or a long-term agreement. “Trust me,” Akshay is said to have told him. It’s in the agreement further down the page.

In April, Rawal was asked to make a promotional video for Hera Pheri 3 without being given any more information. One of the sources also says that the promo was rushed to fit in with the final schedule for the IPL. The promo was shot on the Bhoot Bangla set, even though Rawal was unsure and asked that the shoot be put off until 2025.

Rawal still doesn’t have a script, an official schedule, or a full agreement, all of which are necessary for professional commitment. Since things were not getting clear, Rawal decided to end the term sheet and leave the project.

Problems with the law regarding the Hera Pheri franchise
The controversy gets worse because it is said that producer Firoz Nadiadwala owns the rights to the Hera Pheri movies. Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal have all been sent legal notices telling them not to do any promotions or activities related to the franchise. Any violation would be seen as a “wilful breach,” since Nadiadwala still owns the characters and the storyline.

What Akshay Kumar Does in Court

In response to the controversy, Akshay’s lawyers said that the project was missing basic things like a screenplay and an agreement. Their claim is that Nadiadwala’s notice made things even more difficult. So, Kumar also decided not to be in the movie and returned any money he was paid, plus interest.

What they said:

They didn’t give us the story, the screenplay, or a draft of a long-form agreement. There was no preparation, so there is no loss.

A Fight Over Trust and the Legacy

The role of Baburao has been important to Paresh Rawal in both his personal and professional life. Sources say that he only wanted to be clear before making any further promises. With ongoing lawsuits, lost scripts, and production delays, the actor made the decision to protect his legal standing and reputation.

The Paresh Rawal Hera Pheri 3 Exit Controversy shows how dangerous it can be to make unofficial deals in the movie business, even with people you trust. As the court cases go on, fans may have to wait longer to see Baburao and the other two iconic characters again.
