Khushboo Patani, sister of Disha Patani and ex-Army officer, rescues abandoned baby in Bareilly. Her viral video is winning hearts.

Khushboo Patani, the older sister of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, is popular on social media right now, but not because of a new movie or celebrity news. It’s because of a great act of kindness. People are praising Khushboo Patani, a former Army officer who is now a wellness coach, after a touching video of her saving an abandoned baby from a shack in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, went viral.

A Hero Without a Uniform

The video that went viral shows Khushboo Patani walking up to a broken-down shelter and gently picking up a crying baby who was left there by itself. In the video clip, her voice is comforting as she talks to the baby girl and promises to keep her safe. People all over the country were deeply moved by that simple act of kindness and bravery.

She wrote a popular Hindi saying in the caption of her Instagram picture: “Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake na koi.” She gave the baby the name Radha and promised to work with the police and other authorities to protect the child.

Who is Khushboo Patani?

For those who don’t know, Khushboo Patani isn’t just sister to Disha Patani. She was born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, in November 1991 and went to BBL Public School before getting her degree in Electrical Engineering from DIT School of Engineering. Khushboo started her career in a multinational company, but her life took a different turn when she decided to join the Indian Army to serve her country.

On her personal blog, she writes, “I always wanted to be everything—a doctor, an engineer.” Because of her path, she chose to study both biology and math in school before deciding to become an engineer. But her deep desire to serve her country and her strong morals were what drew her to the Armed Forces.

Eleven Years of Army Service

Khushboo Patani was in the Indian Army for 11 years and enjoyed the challenges of life in the army. She was stationed in different parts of India during her service, so she learned how to deal with different climates, cultures, and missions. She writes about how the experience changed her and made her more disciplined, empathetic, and mentally strong.

“I learned a lot from it,” she says. “I learned that thoughts can make or break our lives.” After ten years of service, she moved on to a new job as a wellness coach, speaker, and motivator. But she never forgot her core values of courage, kindness, and service.

The Viral Video and Public Reaction

Since the video came out, the internet is full of nice things to say about Khushboo Patani. She wrote, “Bless you de and the little girl,” and her sister, actress Disha Patani, added, “God bless her and you.” A lot of people who watched the video said it made them feel sad and encouraged them.

“Just cried seeing this,” said one user. Sad, but what a beautiful time for people to be together. Someone else wrote, “Everyone should have humanity like you.”

In the same video, Khushboo Patani also said something strong about how terrible it was that the parents left the baby. She told anyone from Bareilly who might know the child to come forward. “Shame on such parents.” It was clear what she wanted to say: she was quick to protect the baby, but everyone needs to do more to protect kids.
