Raid 2 Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking Update: Impressive 105% Growth But Still Trails Behind Singham Again

Before it comes out, Raid 2 is getting a lot of attention at the box office. In just 24 hours, advance booking sales have grown by 105%. Fans can’t wait for Ajay Devgn’s much-anticipated sequel to come out on May 1, 2025. They can’t wait to see if this crime thriller will be as successful as or even more successful than his previous hits.

Day 1 of advance bookings for Raid 2 sees a huge jump in ticket sales.
Yesterday, the advance booking for Raid 2 got off to a good start, making ₹45.16 lakh gross. According to Sacnilk, the numbers went through the roof in the next 24 hours, rising by 105% to ₹92.62 lakh gross (not counting the seats that were blocked). The most tickets have been sold in Maharashtra, then in Delhi, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.

Early reactions show that the movie might be good, but the real test will be if these numbers stay high and even rise as the release date gets closer.

Raid 2 Box Office vs. Singham Again: A Tough Fight

Raid 2 is still a long way from being as good as Ajay Devgn’s last big movie, Singham Again. Singham Again got a lot of attention before it came out, and it made ₹15.43 crore in gross advance sales. Raid 2 is growing in a good way, but it hasn’t reached such huge numbers yet.

But, unlike Singham Again, Raid 2 seems to be a movie with serious themes rather than just a fun movie for everyone. Word of mouth will be very important to its long-term success at the box office.

Raid 2 vs. Kesari Chapter 2: Another Tough Battle

Raid 2 and Kesari Chapter 2 are also competing to be one of the top five advance sales games of 2025, which is pretty cool. Kabir Khan’s Kesari Chapter 2 made ₹1.84 crore in pre-sales. With just ₹92 lakh more, Raid 2 can pass this mark before it comes out, solidifying its place as one of the year’s top contender

With Riteish Deshmukh and Ajay Devgn going head-to-head on screen and Raj Kumar Gupta’s sharp direction, Raid 2 has everything it needs to become a surprise hit if it does well with audiences.

Will Raid 2 bring in more money at the box office?

Even though early signs are good, Raid 2’s path at the box office will depend a lot on how well it does with critics and how many people go see it over the weekend. Raid 2 is rated as the second most anticipated movie of 2025 on sites like BookMyShow and IMDb, which shows that people are very interested in it.
