Kantara Chapter 1 Postponed:
A month ago, there were stories of Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 being pushed back from its October publication. But the people who made the movie said that it is on schedule and will be out over the Gandhi Jayanti weekend. Now, a new report from Track Tollywood says that the movie won’t be able to reach the date it was supposed to come out.
Fans of Kantara Chapter 1 were surprised to see that the movie’s release has been pushed back from the originally planned date of October 2025. Track Tollywood says that production setbacks have pushed back the deadline, but the makers have not yet confirmed this.
Rishab Shetty directed and starred in Kantara Chapter 1, which is supposed to be a prelude to the 2022 pan-India hit Kantara. The movie takes place in the past and tries to find out where the Panjurli Daiva came from. It goes further into the spiritual and cultural elements that made the original a huge hit.

People think that the delay, which is not officially acknowledged, is because the movie is being made on a massive scale with lots of historical settings and complicated action scenes. Because Shetty is known for being thorough and honest, it looks like the team is putting quality ahead of a tight schedule. The movie was directed and written by Rishab Shetty. Shetty plays the main character, and Jayaram, Kishore, Jisshu Sengupta, Jayasuriya, and Rakesh Poojari are also in it.
